How Web Secure Backup Works
Web Secure Backup is installed on your server, PC or laptop, data to be backed up is selected.
Backup schedule is established using Web Secure Backup Schedule.
At your selected time each day your data is :
- encrypted using 448-bit military level encryption so that it would take a lifetime for anyone else to unscramble
- transferred over the Internet to be stored in a Class A Data Centre, on the most secure data storage technology available, having it available to restore 24 hours of every day.
1. Direct Remote Backup over the Internet: You could deploy WebsecureBackup Server with workstations directly backing up over the Internet to a remote WebsecureBackup Backup Server Cluster. In this case, the WebsecureBackup Backup Server Cluster can be configured with a centralized storage system (for the backup data) which could be a NAS (Network Attached Storage), SAN (Storage Access Network), private cloud storage or even public cloud storage.

2. Backup 'on-premise' and Replicate to Remote location: In case the local backup server is required at the your premises, WebsecureBackup can be deployed as a local on-site backup server with client machines backing up to a locally deployed (on-premise) WebsecureBackup Backup Server cluster. The backup data can be replicated securely to a WebsecureBackup Replication Server at an off-site location (e.g. managed NAS, SAN, private cloud storage or a public cloud storage).

WebsecureBackup comes with a host of features specifically designed for the needs of SMS, MS, Corp, MSPs, VARs, ISPs and managed hosting Service Providers for managing their remote backup offerings.
